If you are looking to rent a tux for prom, we will NOT be having an event at the school. Candi's Flowers in Knoxville will be open every Wednesday in March until 6 pm. Melcher-Dallas Basketball Players Receive All-District Honors Congratulations to Addison Wadle and Owen Suntken on their selections to their respective All-District teams! It is a well earned and well deserved honor! Addison was selected to the girls 1A All-District South Team and Owen was selected to the 1A All-District Sub-state 5 team. Addison and Owen were also Unanimous 1st Team All-Bluegrass Conference selections. Addison averaged 14.2 points per game while dishing out 70 assists and shooting 74.1% of 180 attempts from the free throw line. Owen led the conference in scoring, averaging 21.6 points per game; field goals made with 192; rebounding, averaging 11.2 per game; and blocks with 110, averaging 5.2 blocks per game. He was 2nd in the state for all classes in blocked shots. Congratulations to the both of you!!!! #Saintpride

In honor of Black History month, 5th graders selected a famous African American to research. After completing their research, they used what they learned to then write an essay. To showcase their knowledge and share it with others, they presented their essays to the class.🤍🖤

11th and 12th Grade February Students of the Month Academics: Kasyn Reed Kasyn goes above and beyond in her school work and is always willing to help others. Kasyn easily takes teacher feedback to make her work stronger. Leadership: Harley Kane Harley always encourages others to do their best and is always willing to go the extra mile to assist those who need it. In groups, she steps up to make sure everything gets done. Citizenship: BrieAnna Remster Brie thinks for herself, makes good choices, and is always willing to help others when they need it. Teachers can count on her to help explain things to others.

9th and 10th Grade February Students of the Month Academics: Dayne Bennett Dayne exceeds his teacher’s expectations in the classroom. When he struggles with something, he never hesitates to ask questions on how he can improve his work. Leadership: Jenna Mickey Jenna is always kind and pushes herself to be better. She also encourages her fellow peers to be the best that they can be. Citizenship: Kianna Jackson Kianna is extremely respectful. She is always willing to help others. She has a positive attitude both on and off the court and always makes sure that people feel welcome.

We also did February Student of the Month Today! Here are your 7th/8th Grade Recipients: Academics: Lily Schneider Lily is in 8th grade math as a 7th grader and is excelling. She works hard, participates in class, and never seems to get frustrated. Leadership: JD Ingram JD encourages everyone in class to pay attention and listen to instruction. He defends the right actions when there is a disagreement. He tries to make good decisions and encourages others to do the same. Citizenship: Blayce Gwinn Blayce is such a kind person. He is always cheerful, and he helps both teachers and his classmates. Every day at lunch, he asks Angie and Teresa how their day is and that he hopes they have a good day.
