Building the future of Melcher-Dallas sports starts in the weight room!
We invite all students in grades 7–12th to our morning work out sessions every
Week Day at 6:00 AM, M-D High School weight room. Monday, Wednesday
and Friday will be regular weightlifting/work out. Tuesdays and
Thursdays we will work on Speed and Agility.
Why your children need to be in the weight room?
Consistent weightlifting is about more than just getting "big." It is
essential for:
Performance: Increasing speed, explosive power, and overall strength.
Safety: Developing the durability needed to reduce injury risks during the game.
Growth: Supporting long-term athletic development.
Off-season prep is where champions are made. Whether your student
plays football, volleyball, softball, wrestling, or any other sport,
staying consistent year-round ensures they are ready to dominate the
moment the season starts.
Don’t let a ride stop them: If your student wants to participate but
transportation is an issue, please reach out to us so we can help!

M-D Choir Students Attend Honor Choir @ Central College
Visit: Central College Singfest!
to watch the concert - 30 minutes with Central's Students or 12 minutes with the Honor Choir (HS) Students in grades 10-12.
Winter Sports Banquet: Monday, March 9 @ 6 PM
A group of high school students had the opportunity to attend a college fair at Simpson College today. They were able to ask questions and learn about colleges from the surrounding area. After the college fair they ate at Pizza Ranch and had some fun in the arcade!

Registration for Girls and Boys Track & Field is now open on Bound. If you are in grades 9-12 and are going out for the season, please go into Bound and complete the registration process. It will ask you for a physical, concussion form, and an M-D Acknowledgement Form. If you need any of those in paper form, please see Dr. Kingrey. All 3 forms must be complete before your child can be on a roster for any events. Uploading a PDF or .jpg format will work.
