Demolition is completed on the school construction project. Sometime in the next week contractors will begin work on the site pad for the new building. After the pad has been built, they will begin digging and pouring footings, as well as installing any underground lines for the facility. Most of the exterior will be precast concrete walls, however, there will be a few places on both the exterior and interior where masonry block with be used. These walls will go up after the footings are in place. We hope to have all of the necessary work and prep completed for the precast walls by the first of the year. Precast walls will arrive in March and will then be set in place. After that work has been completed, the roof can go on and interior work will begin. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, we are on target for an early completion date.
