Austin

We are proud to announce that Austin Remster has been selected to attend the 2026 Global Youth Institute, a prestigious three-day academic conference hosted by the World Food Prize Foundation on October 20-23. Austin participated in the Global Youth Challenge last spring and wrote a paper on the impact of poor education in India.

The Global Youth Institute brings together more than 180 students from across the country and around the world who have demonstrated an interest in addressing some of the most pressing challenges facing our global food system. The conference focuses on global food security, agriculture, sustainability, and the important role young people can play in creating a more food-secure and nourished world.

Through the program, students have the opportunity to expand their knowledge, develop leadership skills, and engage with experts and other students who share a passion for making a difference. The World Food Prize Foundation believes that elevating youth voices is essential to developing innovative solutions for the future of food and agriculture.

Austin’s participation in the Global Youth Institute is an exciting opportunity to learn from leading experts, connect with students from diverse backgrounds, and gain a deeper understanding of global food security and sustainability issues.

The 2026 Global Youth Institute will coincide with the presentation of the 2026 World Food Prize and the Norman E. Borlaug International Dialogue, a globally recognized event that brings together leaders, researchers, policymakers, and innovators to discuss cutting-edge issues in food security and agriculture.

We congratulate Austin on this outstanding achievement and look forward to seeing how this experience inspires continued learning, leadership, and service. Congratulations, Austin!
