At its August 18 meeting, the Melcher-Dallas School Board approved the appointment of Dr. Brian Kingrey as the district's new Athletics Director. Dr. Kingrey succeeds longtime Athletics Director Jim Crozier, who retired at the end of the 2024–25 school year.
In addition to his new leadership role, Dr. Kingrey will continue to serve the district as an elementary music and art teacher, high school Spanish instructor, and choral director.
