The Melcher-Dallas Saints get their first win in the new gym.

The Melcher-Dallas Saints won against Moravia last night, September 17th, in 4 sets 25-6, 20-25, 25-10, and 25-23.
Senior Hayden Branson said “ It feels like all our hard work put in paid off.” She thinks the team came together really well to get the win.
Sophomore Lotty Nolte said “ I think we played really good as one. I don’t think it was an individual effort at all.” Even if someone made a mistake they stayed up.
Senior Jenna Mickey said “ I think I did alright, I had some errors but I also had some good things that I did.” Mickey went 18/19 at the service line with 6 aces.
Sophomore Ashlyn Metz said that it was really good to win in the new gym. “ The energy was high and we had lots of momentum.”
Junior Madisyn DeJong led in kills with 6.
The Saints play next on Saturday September 21, as they host their annual invitational tournament.
